Product Information

Rolawn Medallion Turf is harvested using a biodegradable netting system that helps maintain turf integrity during lifting, transportation and installation. The netting is designed to biodegrade naturally over time after laying and should not be removed before installation.

As with all natural turf products, small amounts of Poa annua (Annual Meadow Grass) may occasionally be present. Poa annua is a naturally occurring grass species commonly found in lawns throughout the UK and does not affect the overall quality, performance or suitability of the turf.

Being a living, natural product, turf appearance may vary slightly depending on seasonal growing conditions, weather patterns and the time of year. These variations are normal and form part of the natural characteristics of quality cultivated turf.

Preparing for Installation

For the best results, the ground should be properly prepared before laying your new turf. Remove weeds and debris, cultivate the soil and incorporate quality topsoil where required. A well-prepared base encourages faster rooting and helps establish a healthier, longer-lasting lawn.

To maintain freshness and quality, turf should be laid as soon as possible following delivery, particularly during warmer weather. Once installed, water thoroughly and continue regular watering throughout the establishment period.
