Product Description

The garage green roof kit has various layers that help capture, purify and slowly release it into drainage, improving the safety and quality of our sewers. It is made up of lightweight materials, making it suitable for roofs that are low-weight bearing, such as garden buildings and garages.

These kits instantly add green to your structure, with an easy-to-install system and improved root growth. Adding plants to your environment improves the air quality without compromising space.

What is a green roof?

There are many types of green roofs, starting at the base level of extensive and intensive. Our green roof kits are both extensive green roofs, which are made with a shallower substrate and are lightweight for use on low-bearing roofs. Extensive roofs usually include sedum, mosses and grasses for a lighter-weight finish. These roofs hold less water with our Carport Green Roof Kit having up to approximately 25L/m2 water storage capacity and the Garage Green Roof Kit holding up to approximately 31L/m2. Intensive roofs are used on larger infrastructure with plants such as trees and bushes, for a heavier green roof. These kinds of green roofs hold much more water.

What’s in the kit?

If redelivery is requested, fees must be paid prior to an order being released for redelivery; if the order is returned to Raycox Turf, the £30 charge per pallet will be deducted from any outstanding refund due.
